A Message From Principal Cotton

RHE School Family,

There is no school tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 1st, for students. It's a teacher workday. We hope everyone gets some rest and relaxation tomorrow and we look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday, Feb. 2nd. It's also National Counselor Week, and students are encouraged to participate in the daily activities posted below.

Love,
Mrs. Crenesha Cotton
Principal

Monday, Feb. 1: FWISD Staff Day – No School for Students

National School Counselor Week February 2 - 5, 2021

As your child's school counselor, I support their social, emotional, academic, and career development. In recognition of National School Counselor Week, I would like to invite the students to participate in the following daily activities:

Treat Our Sweet Staff for Valentine's Day!

For a Valentine's staff treat this year, we are inviting each staff member to choose their desired snack from a local establishment that will then be delivered to the school the week of Valentine's.

But, we need your help! We'd love to make these snacks a personal gift of thanks and love from each of our families and students.

So, for $5 you can Sponsor-a-Snack! Your $5 will help purchase this yummy treat for the staff member and you will get to specifically select which staff member you would like to sponsor and include a personalized note of love, thanks, and appreciation!

This would be a great way to show some love to your secret buddy, past and present teachers, and all the staff members that keep RHE the amazing place it is for our kids.

If interested, please fill out this form

https://forms.gle/iL2RbiVoRqSHzCDR7 ).

Specific payment info is included in the form. Please note, that once a staff member has been selected, their name will be removed from the list. So, if you don't see the staff member you originally had in mind available, you get to choose another amazing person to sponsor!

Thank you for helping to make our teachers and staff feel loved and appreciated!

Run Club Update

Hello Run Club families! We, along with the school administration, have made the difficult decision to not have Run Club this school year. We plan to be back in the fall and hope you will all join us then! Go Mustangs!

Attention Future Monnig Mustangs!

Future Monnig Middle School Mustangs!  Middle School is right around the corner and we would like for you to start thinking about what elective classes you would like to take next year.

Our teachers and staff are going above and beyond during this time and much of their hard work is behind the scenes. We want to recognize our RHE teachers and staff for all the wonderful ways they're helping us "Keep Our Stride"! We are asking YOU (parents, friends, other teachers, and staff) to help us nominate Magnificent Mustangs - Teacher & Staff Version where they'll be highlighted in the Pony Post and PTA Facebook group! Please submit nominations to brooke@safecarepartners.net

Virtual Learning Support

The Virtual Learning Support page is the go-to resource for students and parents. Whether you're getting started using a digital device or online application for the first time or need to learn more about how to use a resource, you'll find the support you need here. Our Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) were designed to give you clear, step-by-step directions for completing common tasks within various applications.  In addition to our QRGs, you will find helpful videos that walk you through the applications used for virtual learning.  On this page, we've compiled information and resources specifically for students and parents to help with common learning tools like Google Classroom, Google Meet, Seesaw, ClassLink, and much more. For students who have received a district-issued device, we have several resources available to help parents and students with technical issues. Our goal is to ensure that parents and students have the knowledge and technology skills needed for success during virtual learning.
