Fine Arts Day was Out of this World! What an absolute blast our 2021 Fine Arts Day was thanks to our stellar chair, Jenn Nevitt! We thank our lucky stars for Jenn and every one of our volunteers for all they did in advance and throughout the event to bring FAD to life. Thanks to all of our amazing artists for sharing their talents with our students. And thanks to our teachers, staff, and students for your participation in making this day so special. We are over the moon at RHE today (and every day)! Art is out of this world, and our Mustangs are, too! |
Announcing Our Newest Texas PTA Honorary Life Members - At our RHPTA Closing Luncheon today, we honored our newest Texas PTA Honorary Life Members – Naomi Gelineau, Russell Lasiter, Jenn Nevitt and Halie Poe.
- The Texas PTA Honorary Life Membership Award is one of the highest PTA honors that may be bestowed to individuals for outstanding service to children and youth. Recipients are people who have contributed significantly to the development of the work of the PTA. Presentations of life memberships are made to publicly recognize individuals who have given in the interest of the young people of Texas.
- Congratulations to this year’s honorees, and thanks for your outstanding service to and for the students of Ridglea Hills!

Retirement News It is with a sad heart that we have to say goodbye to some of our Mustang family. Please join us on June 10th to say goodbye to our fabulous library team Renee Rick and Ginger Cary. Another Amazing AR Year is in the Books!!! Thank you to all of our students, teachers, and parents for their help to keep pushing till the very end. * Mrs.Shackelford’s 4th grade class had the highest percent of students with at least 1 ribbon at 85% of the class. * Mrs. Smith’s class read the most words as a class at 7,501,194 words. * A huge Congrats to Elenor Nevitt with the most words read at 2,250,611 with Ben Nevitt close behind at 2,132,118. Way to go, Everyone! Thank you and Best Wishes to our RH librarian Ms. Rick for her many years of service helping grow our children’s love for reading! You will be missed, Ms.Rick. AHHS Clap Out! Arlington Heights High School Seniors will be coming to RHE for their traditional Clap Out on Monday, June 14th!
The Clap Out is a special annual RHE tradition where we invite seniors graduating from AHHS to come to walk the halls of RHE so our students can cheer them on and congratulate them on their graduation. |
Popcorn Friday on a Thursday! We will be celebrating the end of school with Popcorn Friday a day early on Thursday, June 17th. |

Save the Date for Our 2nd Annual RHE Graduation Parade at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 18! We will be honoring the 5th-grade graduating class from Ridglea Hills Elementary School as well as Mustang alums graduating from 8th grade at Monnig and Stripling Middle Schools and 12th grade at Arlington Heights High School/FWISD High Schools! Decorated vehicles of our honorees are encouraged and can enter the RHE Teacher/Staff parking lot to line up beginning at 5:30 p.m. RHE, MMS, SMS, AHHS and other FWISD teachers, staff, non-graduating students and their families, Ridglea Hills neighbors and friends are encouraged to cheer on these Mustangs along the parade route (posted below) as we celebrate their milestone achievements in this special way. Attention: RHPTA Members – Proposed Amendment to RHPTA Bylaws Per Texas PTA, please consider this 30 days’ written notice of the following proposed amendment to our RHPTA Bylaws. After 30 days, we will host a Membership Meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23, to vote on this change before submitting to Texas PTA for approval. “Article VI Membership and Dues Section 2. Dues. - Annual dues for each member shall be $5.00 for the local portion of dues plus state dues as determined by Texas PTA and national dues as determined by National PTA.”
