Reminder: School breakfast and lunches will be free to all RHE students again this year!

We believe Tuesday’s announcement regarding masks for students, employees, and visitors to our campuses was the right thing to do.  

However, we will certainly honor today’s court order blocking the mask requirement.  

Nevertheless, FWISD strongly recommends that all students, parents, employees and visitors, please, consider the importance of wearing a face mask while we are still in the midst of the pandemic and COVID cases remain high.

After receiving the supplies provided by the district, our teachers need a few more items to start our upcoming school year with a bang! Below is the supplemental school supply list by grade. 

Please feel free to purchase these items as you can. You may send them with your child in the morning or during pickup in the afternoon! Please reach out to your child's teacher for questions about supplies.

Hi Parents! I am so excited to be coordinating this year's RHE Secret Buddies! This is such a great way for us to spoil our amazing Mustang staff throughout the year! Below I have listed some additional information on how this program works, if you have any questions, please feel free to send me an email at sarascott812@gmail.com. 

What are the RHE Secret Buddies?

- Any mustang family who would like to participate will be assigned a Ridglea Hills Employee to leave little treats and surprises for throughout the year to show them how much we appreciate them!

What types of treats or gifts?

- Whatever you want! I am collecting “About Me” sheets from the Staff Members that will list their favorite snacks and drinks etc but feel free to get creative! 

When do I have to provide my gifts?

- Whenever you like! You can drop your tokens of appreciation once a month, on holidays, or randomly throughout the year as a “just because” surprise.

If you have any special buddy requests let me know but it is first come first serve!

Off to a hot August start to a new school year! We spent a couple of hours getting the school all ready for Meet the Teacher and the 1st Day of School. Thanks to these dedicated Dads for their help: Olyn Poole, Eric Powers, Scott Rowsey, Rance Monk, Jason Blackerby, and Russell Lasiter(behind the camera).

What an amazing night at Meet the Teacher!!! We truly have a phenomenal school with the best Principal Mrs. Cotton and Asst Principal Mrs. Starr, as well as outstanding teachers and staff! 

Shout out to Mustang Mall Chair, Emily Pence, along with her wonderful team, Heather Smitherman, Ashley Sanchez, and Meredith King, for another successful round of spirit wear! If you missed it at Meet the Teacher, the second round opens on August 18th!

Last Monday we welcomed back our AMAZING teachers and staff with a beautiful breakfast provided by our Teacher Appreciation Chair, Julie Dore, and her many volunteers! What a wonderful way to start our new school year! Thank You, Julie, and your team for going above and beyond!!!  #campmustang#RHE1955

Due to FWISD regulations on events in our school building, we cannot hold our annual uniform clothing distribution for RHE families in need. We have a large amount of clothing available, thanks to your generosity last spring, so please direct families to the amazing Ms. Tracie Harris (guidance counselor) for any uniform needs!

Deputy Superintendent Karen Molinar announced at the Tuesday, June 22, 2021 Board meeting that the District would foot the bill for all enrolled elementary school students.
