A Note from Principal Cotton

Happy Sunday!

If you could give to Live Thankfully and donate non-perishable food items to assist families in need, we would greatly appreciate it.

Please sign up with Mrs. Tracie Harris if you would like to speak at Career Day this year!

Big THANK YOU to Ms. Meredith Rowsey and Kelly Decker, and the Carnival committee for everything that was done to make this year's Carnival amazing! I enjoyed seeing all of our students (current and former), families, and so many teachers and staff that volunteered for this event. It was so wonderful and I enjoyed every bit of it! Thank you, PTA, for your unwavering support of our school!

Thank you! Go Mustangs!

Love,

Principal Cotton

CARNIVAL

We had such a fantastic turnout for Carnival on Friday night! It was wonderful to have our RHE Family together again. Thanks to everyone who showed up. Special thanks to Kelly Decker and Olyn Poole for taking control of the Haunted House. She arranged our fabulous team of 3rd-grade parents who put much time and effort into a successful HH. BIG thanks to all of the parents who volunteered their time at the booths. So many of them worked beyond the shifts they signed up for so the booths could stay open. Thank you to the teachers who spent hours at the ticket booth. Thank you Dads that lent your Mustang Muscle that allowed the Carnival to actually happen. SO many people stepped up without being asked to make this event happen, and I can not thank you all enough! Thanks much Megan, Ashley, and Sara.

Jenn Nevitt, Michelle Henderson, William Henderson, Rance Monk, and Kelly Decker- you are superstars and I owe you all!

Yearbook News

Yearbook Info

We are still waiting on our yearbooks from last year but we certainly haven’t forgotten about them. I know this is frustrating for many that your little ones don’t have those in hand yet.

Last year’s school calendar presented us with a challenge: late yearbook or no yearbook at all. Obviously, we choose to do a yearbook without realizing just how “late” they would actually be. Since our school year didn’t end until late June and many of our events and pics happening in the last couple of months, that put us on a different production schedule with our vendor. Unfortunately, they didn’t begin work on our book until the end of their summer calendar in August.

I assure you that I have been tracking the books through the process and staying on the vendor as more time has passed. Again, I apologize for this delay and for your frustrations.
