Spring Auction was AMAZING!

To say we took it back to the 90s last night is an understatement! We had Salt-N-Pepa (thanks to our very own Principal Cotton and AHHS Principal Weeks), Dr. Evil and Mini-Me, Dumb and Dumber, a Blockbuster employee as well as fabulous 90s fashion that included butterfly clips, Dr. Martins, sunflowers, choker necklaces, and more! Not only were the outfits on point, but the decorations, movie posters, flowers (thanks to Cailey Walton), balloons (thanks to Gladys Razo) and so much more made the event spectacular! We raised money for our sweet school and had so much fun doing it! It was AMAZING!

But none of this would be possible without the efficient execution of our Spring Auction Chair, Heather Smitherman, along with her committee that included Emily Pence, Ashley Sanchez, Amy Burch, Ivy Ellis, and Laura Armstrong as well as VP Fundraising, Nancy Sticksel! I cannot even begin to describe how hard they’ve worked to ensure that this was a night to remember! These ladies spent countless hours planning the BEST auction we’ve ever seen at RHE! Not only did we set record-breaking attendee numbers (145), we also broke records by raising over $55,000!!! This is such a tremendous feat! Absolutely tremendous!

Also, a huge shoutout to Eric Sanchez and Jared Smitherman for not only emceeing the live auction but also providing the best live entertainment! You guys always rock it and last night was no different!

Thank you to all who came to support our school, teachers, and staff! Thank you to those that donated auction items! And thank you to those that bid from afar! We truly have the best PTA!

Go Mustangs,

That’s a Wrap on Fundraising…

A very special thank you to our Fundraising chairs this year:  Emily McNay (Walkathon), Julie Dore and Christine Hudson (Hot Dog Supper), and Heather Smitherman (Spring Auction)! They, alongside their committee of volunteers and countless others, not only put on three great events, they also raised a total of $119,403 for our sweet school!!!!

None of that would be possible without our Mustang Family - the support of our parents, students, and staff!!!!! Because of everyone’s volunteer hours and generous donations, the PTA is able to provide so many things for all our students. Things like Fine Arts Day, playground equipment, Carnival, recess equipment, field trips and so much more. Thank you all for an amazing year!!!!

- VP of Fundraising, Nancy Sticksel
