It’s the final week before the Walkathon! 

This week’s challenge is an all-school challenge!! WE ARE RIDGLEA only because of each and every one of you!  This Cash Dash will help us Raise the Roof for Ridglea! We only need $3500 more to help us reach our goal! How can you help make this happen? We will have the coin bank open in the lobby, you can buy VIP tickets, buy Pony Sponsorships, send in a Venmo donation (@RHPTA), or write a check! Any and all forms of monetary donations will be accepted and any and all amounts will help us reach this final goal! Check on the Cash Dash Tracker in the front lobby each day to see how close we are to reaching this goal! 

What if we reach this goal??  If we can fill this gap and meet this goal, Mrs. Cotton will do a morning drop-off concert ON THE ROOF for the students and staff sometime after Walkathon! 

So, let’s Raise the Roof and get ourselves a specialty Cotton Concert! 

This is the last week for Spirit Shop. But, good news! There are FOUR opportunities to shop! Spirit Shop will be open Tuesday during lunches (with cupcakes!), Wednesday afternoon, Thursday morning, and Friday morning before Walkathon.  Credit cards will be accepted on Friday.  

The long-awaited Day of Walkathon is almost here! Friday, September 30th is going to be a fun day to celebrate all of the hard work and fundraising done over the last month. We still need help with volunteers for that day - there are many opportunities to help before, during, and after the walk.  Sign up here for a spot that works well for you! 

On the morning of Walkathon, after you drop off your student(s), feel free to wait outside in front of the school.  The Spirit Shop will be open, and there will be coffee, donuts, and Walkathon shirts (past and current) available for sale! Cash or card will be accepted. Students will begin parading outside after morning announcements and attendance and the walk will begin about 8:30.  

All student Walkathon shirts, any additional purchased shirts, and any purchased VIP tickets will come home in backpacks this week.  

Thank you for such a fun month! We’ve had a blast with all of the challenges, Spirit Shops and other Walkathon activities and we can’t wait to celebrate on Friday with you!
