Carnival Volunteer Sign-Ups and Additional Information Is Here!!

Our Ridglea Hills Carnival is quickly approaching! We have TONS of fun games & activities planned and need YOUR help to make this a super fun evening for all of our Mustang families!

What you need to know about Volunteering:

  • Carnival is from 6-8 pm on Friday, October 28th

  • Each grade is in charge of running 2-3 booths

  • Parents sign up for set-up, 30 minute shifts during the Carnival, or clean up...this allows for parents to help a little AND leaves plenty of time to enjoy the event with their families

  • The Carnival Committee will provide all booth materials, prizes and instructions.

  • Middle schoolers, High schoolers and College students can volunteer! They can sign up with the links or email us. Many of our Alumni enjoy helping in the Haunted House and we need them! Email if you, or student, wants to work INSIDE the HH in costume. If they need hours signed off on, please email us or they can bring paperwork that evening.

Sign-Up Genius links are below. Please try and stick to the booths for your grade/grades (for now!)

Book Fair Volunteers Needed!

Book Fair is coming the first week of November!

We would love volunteers the whole week, but especially need them on Oct 27-28th for PREVIEW days for our Pre-K and Kinder babes who need extra help making their lists

I have attached the schedule below and created a sign up genius at the link!

Please feel free to message me here or email @ monicarhawkins@gmail.com. Thank you!!

Live Thankfully

Local Live Thankfully food drives are usually conducted in the first 3 weeks of November. Live Thankfully volunteers pick up these heavy boxes of food weekly, transfer them to the Live Thankfully storage unit, and organize them for a Live Thankfully packaging party. These food drives collect enough food to fill 3,000 bags of groceries and donate another 5,000 plus food items to local area food banks.

All entries must have a parent or guardian who has joined RHPTA this year. Entries should be entirely student done. More info and rules at https://www.txpta.org/reflections. Entries due 11/17.
