Hot Dog Supper is Feb. 24th!

Chiefs? Eagles?

Well, at least we can agree we are all MUSTANGS!

While it may not be the Super Bowl, the countdown to a beloved Ridglea Hills event has begun...2023 HOT DOG SUPPER - FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24th!

A Few Event Reminders…

Filling Class Raffle Baskets -

Donations for your student's class themed basket are due this Friday, 2/17. We know that kiddos can get confused when their class is collecting for a theme they personally may not find interesting. However, if you can help explain…that just because their class is collecting for the "XYZ" basket, that does not mean that is the only basket they have to put their personal raffle tickets towards. There will be an array of baskets/prizes to choose from! Raffle basket winners will be drawn towards the end of the evening on 2/24.

Kid Parties - Looking to HOST a Kid Party?

Raffle baskets will certainly be the stars during Hot Dog Supper, but KID PARTIES are where the fun continues! Are you ready to host a kid party but not sure what to do? We are here to help! These amazing parties are for kids, hosted by adults, and are SO MUCH FUN. In the past we have had Popsicles in the Park, Easter Egg Hunts, and Skating Parties- the ideas are endless! You can host alone or find a friend, or two, to help. Please reach out if you have ideas, questions, or just need some help. We are here to support you!  All forms are due this Friday, February 17; forms are linked below. Parties will go live at 6pm on February 24 and can be accessed online from anywhere. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScqO3fFwx6WW01n723eRbw39KsFeQ_pAp3pGO0s6ReTD1eVGQ/viewform

Tickets:

Meal Options - Hot dogs or pizza, both with chips & bottled water. Each meal is $5.

Raffle Tickets - For the baskets/prizes are 50 cents each. All raffle tickets purchased will be used and winners drawn the evening of Hot Dog Supper.

There are a few opportunities to place ticket orders:

This year we will be celebrate the timeless nature of the Fine Arts. This is a can’t miss event and it is not possible without your support!! Thank you to all of the artists and volunteers that take the time to come have fun with our kids while experiencing the arts.

Lunch Volunteers still needed! We provide you lunch, and you stay in the classrooms with the students while the teachers eat. You also take them to recess or tour the outdoor decorations, weather permitting. You are needed from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This is a great way to see what we do without having to make a full-day commitment! No younger siblings are allowed to attend with you. https://forms.gle/sWyVTZyPDtEnwKvK8

Only pre-registered volunteers with a completed background check will be allowed in the building after 8 a.m. on the day of the event. Parents, visitors, and younger/older siblings will NOT be allowed to shadow or stop in to see their students on the day of the event. ALL students will need a sack lunch on FRIDAY as the entire school will be eating in their classrooms. The students are also encouraged to leave their backpacks at home that day.

Each volunteer must have a clear background check for 2022-2023! No exceptions will be made. Background checks must be completed by Friday, Feb. 24. Need to do yours? Click here to complete: https://www.fwisd.org/Page/360

On Thursday, March 2, we will begin transforming the school for the event!  We will start after school and run until we are done. Mark your calendar for this event!! The more help, the quicker we can get it all done!

Have an artistic talent (Music, Dance, Art, etc) that you would like to share with the kids or can follow the directions really well for a craft, please email Robynttu@gmail.com

We did order a limited number of extra shirts to sell the day-off event. If you were not able to order a t-shirt, bring $12 cash the day of the event.
