Our spring book fair is coming up SOON and we need volunteers to help with preview and sales! We are using a new vendor this spring and you will want to check out all the goodies.

Preview will be all day on Thursday, March 23rd and Friday, March 24th - we will need volunteers to help the littles write their lists each morning!

Sales days will be Tuesday, March 28th - Friday March 31st - we need volunteers to help shop, math, and checkout for 1-1.5hrs each morning.

Our Ridglea Hills Choir is gearing up for contest season and doing a little fundraising at the same time!  Let's show our test takers and teachers that we support them by wearing an awesome STAAR spirit shirt!  Students and staff may wear them on testing and spirit days.  They are available for all grade levels! Get yours by March 26th!

Thank you to all of our dads and special dudes that were able to join us for donuts on Friday! We had another amazing turnout and went through almost 900 donuts! 

Thank you to Special Events chair, Amy Wood, for organizing this cherished PTA-sponsored breakfast as well as our group of volunteers that helped serve Friday morning! 

Thank you to our VP Fundraising, Beth Timmerman, for stepping in and organizing our Mustang Roundup for prospective PreK and Kinder families last week! We had a tremendous turnout with roughly 90 in attendance! 

Thank you to Principal Cotton and our amazing PreK and Kinder teachers, Noelle O'Donnell, Julie Moreno, Monique Gillaspy, Jenn Nevitt, Nichole Sharp, Claudia Raya and their TAs for taking the time out of their day to showcase why our beloved RHE is such a loving and warm neighborhood school! A special shout out to some of our Kinder students for doing a great job performing ‘Deep in the Heart of Texas’ with the help of our fantastic music teacher, Mandy Holmes!

Thank you to our volunteers Julie Dore and Christine Hudson for providing our yummy refreshments as well as Emily Pence, Amy Rose, Rachel Harris, Amanda Jennings, Amy Burch, Ashley Zucarelli,  Heather Smitherman and Amy Severson for giving tours and answering many questions! Also thank you to our 5th Grade Student Council for welcoming our prospective families and assisting our volunteers during tours. 

Shout out to our Family Engagement Specialist, Jessica Quijas, for the amazing balloon arch! Your many talents amaze us! And finally, thank you to Yard Card Queen - Fort Worth for providing the wonderful yard signs to welcome our guests!

Many of Ridglea Hills Elementary’s events could not happen without parental involvement. The RHTPA Executive Board consists of 42 positions held by RHPTA general members. While each position has a specific job, the Executive Board makes administrative and financial decisions for RHPTA. In addition to the specific jobs outlined, each Executive Board member should be able to regularly attend board meetings. There are eight Officer positions, elected by the general RHPTA membership in April, and 34 Appointed Chair positions chosen by the incoming President. If you are interested in serving on our executive board, completed forms are due by Friday, March 31st.
