A Letter From Our PTA President

What a great first week of school! We loved seeing everyone's back-to-school pictures, smiling faces and morning dance moves! This week, the PTA Packet will be coming home with your student(s).  Be on the lookout for a pink packet filled with all the information you need to know to join PTA,volunteer, and stay informed of all the fun activities and events. Our Mustang Trailblazers need the support of their families, teachers, staff, and community!

Cafeteria Closed

The district is beginning a drain and grease trap clean up in our cafeteria beginning Monday, August 21. They are required to close our kitchen, and the work will take approximately two weeks. Our cafeteria staff, as well as Child Nutrition department staff, will be preparing take-and-go meals at another location for our students. They will deliver the meals in time for breakfast and lunch each day.

We do not anticipate any interruption to lunch service, and every student who needs a meal will receive one. If you have any questions please call the school or Child Nutrition Services.

Carpool Map

Thank you for everyone's patience this week with carline.  As a reminder, there is no parking or getting out of your vehicle while in the carline.  Thank you for your help in keeping students safe and the carline moving efficiently!

Volunteer at Ridglea Hills

Want to be more involved at Ridglea Hills Elementary? Volunteering is a great and easy way to support our children and school! We have many opportunities throughout the year that need assistance. Please complete this form and return it to your child's teacher or email it to Megan Powers at meganpowers84@yahoo.com.  This form will also be coming home with your student(s) this week in the PTA packet.

Reminder, ALL FWISD volunteers must complete a yearly background check.  If you have not yet completed your background check, you can do that HERE.  It takes less than 5 minutes and will make sure you are on the approved list of volunteers!
