SUBJECT: RH Pony Post: Week of Sep. 25

A Note from Our Principal

Hi RHE school family,

I'm so proud of how hard our students are working, learning and growing already, just within the first six weeks!

Arlington Heights High School will host its annual AHHS Literacy Rally on Saturday, November 4th from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. so I encourage everyone to mark the date on their calendar.

Ridglea Hills has always had the most students in attendance so let's take home that honor again this year! This flier has more information on the event. It's a great event for all ages to attend!

With love,

Crenesha Cotton

RHE Principal

Get to know our PTA Board Members

Introducing a new section so everyone can get to know YOUR PTA Board Members! We are so thankful for their contributions and dedication throughout the year, so we're excited for our RHE families to get to know more about them!

Mustang Mall Orders Extended!

SURPRISE!

We are extending Mustang Mall for one more week! The website will now close for ordering on 9/29. Orders will be sent home with kids during the month of October.

Walkathon Updates

What an incredible week for our Walkathon fundraising efforts!  You all really showed up to support and have a great time at Rollerland West and all of those coins have really added up.  We have now raised over $50,000 and are well on our way to our overall goal!  The winning grade of the Rally for Recess challenge from last week will be announced soon!!

We encourage everyone to show up to our Meals for Mustangs this week!  We will have two chances for everyone to come out and show your spirit.  The GRADE with the most attendees from Rollerland West and the Meals for Mustangs nights will have a teacher representative pie’d in the face by Mrs. Cotton!!

This Wednesday, September 27th, join us at Chicken Salad Chick from 4pm - 8pm.  15% of the proceeds will go back to RHE.

On Thursday, September 28th, Mama’s Pizza on Camp Bowie will be hosting a night for the Mustangs from 3pm - 9pm.  A portion of the proceeds will be donated back to the school.

Be sure to mention Ridglea Hills Elementary at both events and sign the sign-in sheet at both events!

Calling all Walkathon Volunters!

Calling all volunteers!

Want to be more involved at RHE??? Volunteering is a great and easy way to support our children and school.

Please use the link or QR code below to submit your volunteer interests. You may also fill out the volunteer form and return to your teacher or email VP of Volunteers, Megan Powers, at meganpowers84@yahoo.com

Fort Worth ISD requires an online background check process for all school volunteers. Background checks must be completed every year for volunteers; they do not carry over to the next school year. For those with students in multiple schools, one background check is sufficient, as it covers all of Fort Worth ISD. To complete your mandatory application and background check to volunteer through Fort Worth ISD, please visit:  https://www.fwisd.org/volunteer.
