Happy Monday Everyone!

I hope everyone had a great Fall Break and enjoy this nice weather!  I want to personally thank Julie Dore, Brent Dore, Bonnie Gipson, Emily McNay, Trista Preda, Whitney Burns, Kyle Zamzow, Katie Whitten and so many others for our amazing Walkathon! It was definitely one for the books that our babies will never forget!

Shout out to Michael Heick for being our neighborhood DJ and Tiesha Brown for driving Mrs. Starr and myself on our Walkathon! I appreciate you all so much and thank you for providing our babies with an experience they will never forget!!!  See you tomorrow!

With love,

Crenesha Cotton

Walkathon Wrap Up

Walkathon 2023 was one for the books. Thank you to everyone that came together to make it possible. Together, we raised more than $70,000 to support our wonderful school!

A BIG thank you to Principal Cotton, Assistant Principal Starr, teachers & staff, our President - Julie Dore, our incredible Walkathon Co-Chairs- Brent Dore & Katie Whitten, VP Fundraising- Beth Timmerman, as well as the indispensable Walkathon committee: Brayden Hudson, Emily McNay, Whitney Burns, Bonnie Gipson, Trista Preda, & Kyle Zamzow for showing up to make our BIGGEST fundraiser happen!!

To the countless people that helped out this month--whether at spirit shop, directing traffic on Walkathon day, hauling tons of coins to school, or simply helping communicate the many dates to friends, families, and fellow RHE parents--THANK YOU. Walkathon only happens because the incredible RHE community comes together to showcase our Mustang Spirit! Also, a special thank you to the spouses of the Walkathon committee members!

Career Day is scheduled for Friday, November 17 and we're looking for volunteers to help teach our students about the different types of careers that exist in the world today. Our goal is to expose students to a wide variety of careers with the hope that their interest will be piqued by one or more of them.

Interested in volunteering? Please fill out this form by November 3.

Questions? Please contact Tracie Harris, RHE School Counselor, at 817-815-1715 or tracie.harris@fwisd.org

Calling all volunteers!

Want to be more involved at RHE??? Volunteering is a great and easy way to support our children and school.

Please use the link or QR code below to submit your volunteer interests. You may also fill out the volunteer form and return to your teacher or email VP of Volunteers, Megan Powers, at meganpowers84@yahoo.com

Fort Worth ISD requires an online background check process for all school volunteers. Background checks must be completed every year for volunteers; they do not carry over to the next school year. For those with students in multiple schools, one background check is sufficient, as it covers all of Fort Worth ISD. To complete your mandatory application and background check to volunteer through Fort Worth ISD, please visit:  https://www.fwisd.org/volunteer.
